My flight from Singapore reaches Paris CDG Airport at 7.20am.
I will probably need to take a 54Euro train from CDG airport to Marne La Valle for the outbound trip at 8.31am and reaches at 8.40am. And waits till 12.11pm for the TGV train to Aix- Provence & reaches 3.31pm? Is this too much work???

And hopefully I can take the RER train from Marne La Valle to Paris Les Halles/Chatelet?

I'm confused. Why go to Disney World to change trains? You can take a high-speed TGV train from CdG direct to Aix en Provence without changing trains anywhere. Service runs about every three hours.
Questions about transfer times at CdG come up all the time. The concensus answer is that to get from the runway to the terminal, go through immigration, retrieve luggage, pass through customs and then move to Terminal Two TGV station and sort out the platform for your train, is possible in an hour, but only if you are lucky.
Yes, you can take RER A from Marne la Vallee to Chatelet les Halles. http://www.ratp.fr/en/ratp/c_21879/visiting-paris/

I also think you are confused and think the only train to Aix leaves from Marne La Valle, but of course, it doesn't. And no train to Marne la Valle should cost 54 euro from CDG.

And then when are you going from Marne La Valle to Paris? this is very confusing.

The post is confusing because there is so much unnecessary information.

Louise - are you looking for trains from Roissy which is where CDG airport is located? I see a train to Aix at 11:46 and 13:46.

You can return from Aix to Paris, arriving at Gare de Lyon. There are direct trains at 7:51, 9:51, 10:15, 11:51, etc.

From Gare de Lyon you can connect to Chatelet Les Halles by metro or taxi. There's probably also a bus.

Why do you want to stop over at Marne la Vallee?
TGV 5164 leaves Charles de Gaulle airport at 11.58, Marne la Vallee at 12.11, Lyon at 14.06 and arrives at Aix-en-Provence at 15.31.
These trains run about every 2 hrs:
CDG airpot dp 6.58, 9.58, 11.58, 13.58, 16.58, 19.28

I am sorry I confused everyone. I really have no idea.

This is the website I use http://en.voyages-sncf.com/en/ where I click on the latest deals & it brought me to the above schedule.

After exploring all the confusing train routes and exorbitant train rates, & driving is also not an option, I chickened out & booked a cheap hotel at Marne va Vallee instead. Will take more day trips from paris when there are no crazy luggages to lug around I suppose that is more sensible.

Many thanks all for your kind help & advice here. I will keep those in mind for the next trip!

The voyages-sncf.com website will indeed list all possible options to reach point A from point B but no one would take the TGV from CDG to Marne-la-Vallée (Disney) just to connect to a second TGV to Aix-en-Provence. Wouldn´t it be logical to just take the train from TGV directly to Aix-en-Provence?

If your destination is Paris, you will absolutely not want to stay at Marne-la-Vallée which is 50 minutes by train east of Paris. Train tickets are 7.50€ each way to/from Paris.

Consider canceling your Marne-la-Vallée hotel and finding one in Paris.

Sarastro,

TGV to Aix direct will cost 400Euros. I have planned my trip too late. That's why I reckon SNCF showed me the cheapest route via Marne-la Vallee to take advantage of the OUIGO promotion to get 191Euros. But I will not be going Aix anymore - will just be staying 3 nights in Marne la Vallee for Eurodisney & the outlet shopping mall.

I already have 7 nights in paris.

It is indeed bad planning I agree but this happens when things are done in haste. Will do better next time!
