You can try the Timhotel Le Louvre, a room for 4 people is around 180-200€ and it has a very central location (1st arrondissement)

Bumping to ask KathySa if she liked the Jardin de l'Odeon.

I am thinking about staying there on an upcoming trip but there aren't a lot of comments about this hotel on the forum, although it gets very good reviews on TA and seems to be well located.

It was fine. Nothing outstanding but clean and a good location and breakfast was decent. We were at the end of a family Switzerland vacation, 2 adults 2 kids and had 2 rooms.
