Richard, check out the gelato at Della Palma, also near the Pantheon. Compare it to Giolitti, and report back to us.

Via della Maddalena 20, Rome, Italy 00186

Buon appetito

Sandi, we were just in Rome, and we saw every possible style of boots worn by many of the women- everything from cowboy boots to English style riding boots.

Richard -

I'm very much enjoying your travel log. I completely agree about getting lost in Rome - look what we would miss if it didn't happen!

Thank you so much for sharing your trip. Looking forward to more . . .

Linda

Am enjoying your report --- we just returned 3 wks. ago. Actually there is a dept. store; Rinascente is right on the corner of via del Corso, not too far from the via Condotti.

Maybe I missed it but I was looking at your blog about Ostia Antica. I read about the trouble finding it but did you continue writing about it once you got there? I'm sure I'm missing something.

Love the blog. Hopefully your feet are recovered!

I read the entry about everyone wearing all kinds of jeans, and I was wondering about "mom jeans." (Just kidding - I wouldn't bring mine to Europe.)

Interesting that so far your most expensive meal is your least favorite. Isn't that just the way it goes sometimes?!

Richard,

I am really enjoying your blog too! I feel like I'm right there with you, so thanks for the badly needed return to Roma!

Try some melone gellato - mango - yum!

Did I miss the blog from IN Ostia Antica? I can only find the one about you getting there (just barely).

Sandi...

There is one from IN Ostia Antica, if you look on the left, under recent posts, it's about 5 or 6 down.
