les nubians and St. Germain(Ludvic Navarre)

Hello! I am going to be in Paris Oct 9th through Oct. 22nd for my honeymoon. My boyfriend and I enjoy jazz and techno and have been looking for info on seeing Les Nubians and St. Germain but I cannot find any schedules on the internet. Any suggestions? We are 30 years old and are also looking for some good jazz clubs and Techno to go to that are not a bunch of 20 or 50 year olds. Thanks! Cheryle

I likes them, also, and have one of their CDs. Go to www.jazzvalley.com and you'll find schedules for all the clubs.

I missed that you wanted more than jazz (jazzvalley does list stuff in clubs that have at least some jazz).

www.novaplanet.com is good, go to Funky Paris section

This URL is good if you want dance clubs, not just to listen:
http://danse-a-2.com/

www.infoconcert.com is good to search by artist. There are none listed for Les Nubians. I think they are playing 11/30 in Rennes according to their own web site.

Le Rex on Bd de Bonne Nouvelle is the techno music temple in Paris (check out on novaplanet.com or timeout.com/paris for the actual days of the week, I am not sure it's every day). Otherwise, as you might know, Paris is the capital of "soft techno" or lounge music. So, to listen to this kind of music while enjoying a cocktail, go to La Mezzanine de l'Alcazar (rue Dauphine, 6e), Le Bouddha Bar (off Champs Elysees), Hotel Costes (8e), Barbara Bui Cafe (rue Etienne Marcel, 2e), Nirvana Bar, or even Latino Cafe on rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine, 12e for some latin techno.
