Left Bank Hotels?

I'll be in Paris next spring. I'm considering the K+K Cayre and the Hotel Bel Ami. Comments appreciated as well as alternates in the area.

Thanks!

Hi
what are you looking to spend, and what amenities do you require (elevator, private bath, a/c, etc.)

Elaine - I need two rooms for two couples. Each with at least a queen with nicely appointed bathrooms with showers. Rooms that are so small that you have to go outside to change your mind are out! Price range is up to 350 Euros. We have stayed at the Aubusson and want to be in the St. Germain / Latin quarter area.

Bel Ami is a bit nicer than K and K, plus a slightly better location.

Hi--you might want to consider the very nice Hotel des Saints-Pères 65 rue des Saints-Peres in the 6th. It has rooms that are generally larger than many typical Parisian hotels. We stayed there and had a huge room--esp by Paris standards--with a king size bed and a large luxurious bath.

I've tried to stay at the Saint Peres in the past, it was always booked long in advance so don't wait to inquire.
The Marronniers and the Lenox St Germain are hotels that are always well-reviewed except by me, but it might just have been me (us). We thought our rooms, years ago, to be very very small for the price, but we might have just gotten particularly small rooms and perhaps that's the 'standard' size.
The Lenox I know has larger suites available on upper floors.

The Montalambert in the 6th?

Plus, a fun site to check out, is a site called "reservethebest.com" which lists its subscriber (and well, a wee bit upscale hotels) by "district", restaurants as well.

We love the Saints-Peres. The rooms are mostly large and our September reservations are for E195 per room. It is so conveniently located, charming, friendly and comfortable.

Thanks for all the comments. "Reserve the best" led me to La Villa Saint-Germain and I've reposted about that hotel.
