Le Meridien Hotel in Munich

I am going to Munich at Eastertime and have reservations for the Best Western Hotel Atrium, 4 stars, near the main rail station at $115 per night including full breakfast. Just found Le Meridien for the same price without breakfast. How much would a decent breakfast cost at the Meridien or where could we eat nearby? Any suggestions? I feel Le Meridien is more of a guarantee as far as the rooms go. I haven't found any comments about the Atrium-
Thanks.
Hi Barbara,
My husband & I stayed at the le Meridien in Munich last March - it had been open for 1 week (complete renovation) and it was simply fabulous. Large , contemporary rooms, huge marble bathroom, very New York Chic. My husband especially enjoyed tinkering with the flat screen TV.

The breakfast buffet is great in the hotel, but pricey (I think it was 22 euro/person). The hotel is located directly across from the bahnhof, so it its simple to grab a roll or bread at any one of many stands there. You are also 1 block from the U bahn, so can quickly go to Marienplatz for a 'sit down' type meal.
I would recommend le Meridien.

Awesome hotel. Walk across the street for breakfast (train station). All the fresh fruit, pastries, and anything else you could want. Hotel is modern, safe, clean, and the best appointed rooms in all of Munchin. You won't be dissapointed.

Thanks, Daniel and Lisa. By the way how is the area around the train station? In some cities, they tend to be seedy.
Slightly seedy - Doner Kabab places and a bar or two. - but I NEVER felt unsafe at all.

Its only a 20 minute walk to Marienplatz. Don't worry.
