Last Minute hotel help in Barcelona

First of all I would like to thank everyone here for helping me plan my trip. It has made things so much easier.
I am staying at the Hotel OMM for the first 5 days of my trip. I will then go to Bilbao and San Sebastian and then return to Barcelona for my last 3 nights. I need a hotel in Barcelona for those nights.
I could get a good rate at Granados 83, but was considering trying a different neighborhood from Hotel Omm, such as the el Born/ Barri Gotic area.
I definitely want WiFi and a pool (at least a plunge pool) and somewhere fun for a solo traveler in her 30's. I definitely want to stay under $200, and it seems many of the good rates are gone this close to my trip.
Should I stay at the Granados 83, and if not what other hotels would you suggest?

I just checked out Jazz-it looks nice, but unfortunately is booked. Any other ideas?

Has anyone stayed at Granados 83 ? Would you recommend switching to the barri Gotic or el born?

Im in Barcelona now, staying in Hotel Metropol just a few blocks from Las Ramblas. Its cost us 480 euros for 8 days, 7 nights. but its really nice for what we were looking for. Free wifi, but no pool. dont know if this helps, but its been decent. if you book, request room 303-308ish (or a floor between those numbers because those rooms look out onto the street and each have a small balcony.

good Luck!

We just stayed at the Granados 83 and loved our experience. Nice front desk staff, fashionably decorated room-somewhat compact but with room for a leather sofa, writing area, large closet-great use of space. We were in a standard room. Great marble bath with power shower, large, fluffy towels, bathrobes, slippers. Free Wi-Fi which worked well, tiny roof top pool and next door bar where we had after dinner drinks.

We really enjoyed the quiet (and safe) location in the Eixample. It's our favorite area to stay.

Thanks! I am glad to hear a positive report because I went ahead and booked it. I actually just arrived in BCN, so I am about to head out and explore the Eixample for the first time!
