Last minute hotel cancellation Dubrovnik..HELP PLEASE

Our hotel in Dubrovnik (Villa Dubrovnik) just cancelled our reservation made in March due to ongoing construction. Looking for 4-5 star hotel with swimming pool and fitness center, king beds and a relaxed atmosphere. Anyone heard of Sun Gardens? It looks pretty large and family oriented in photos. Thinking we could also stay north of Dubrovnik and make a day trip there. We planned a four night stay and then are going to Montenegro for four days. Any input would be appreciated.

I am sorry I don't know that hotel but It gets good reviews on booking.com. I would book a refundable rate, as others will be scrambling as well, while you wait for more responses.

Sun Gardens is too far from the city. You could check our Hotel Lero, at least it’s in Dubrovnik.

How disappointing for you.

Hotel Excelsior would fit the bill, but could be full I would guess. I considered the Hilton before staying at Excelsior for its superiod (IMO) location. I agree that you want to stay within walking distance of the old city. Even when crowded, it is magical. Good luck finding something.

  1. I have stayed at the Hilton. Nice hotel and very convenient to the old city. Do not remember if it had a pool.
