We are leaving for Ireland on July 31. Our trip will start in Dublin and we will spend a few days in northern Ireland, followed by 3 nights in Galway, and 2 nights near Dingle. We have 2 more night stays to plan before our last night in Shannon before we fly home. Any suggestions for our last 2 days and nights?

Kenmare would be a standard choice and is near Dingle. Kinsale is further but doable. I love SW Cork and if you want something smaller and a bit more quaint and further from the crowds, Baltimore would be a great choice.

of course, you could also go back towards Clare and spend a couple of days there. Plenty to do.

I loved Kinsale and that would be my pick on a return trip (best pub - the Spaniard). If you like stone circles, you can do a short detour to Dromberg! On the road to Kinsale.

We liked Kinsale a lot. It's especially known for its good food. It's very walkable and pleasant.
