Steve, I could not find an article on Orta at that site. I did find a good one on Como which I did print. And, to digress, I am torn between staying at the Uherhof Deur or the Grones in Ortisei. We will be 2 couples in late Sep.

Bob, I think when Steve posted that, the February issue came up. Now the March issue is out, so the Orta article is gone. I know it was there because I love Orta and I read it.

Maybe there's a way to go back into the magazine's archives and pull it up.

Thanks, Steve. I'm another Orta devotee and will try to find the article. Of course, the more exposure Orta gets, the worse it gets for those of us who "discovered" it 20 years or more in the past.

Sorry folks - here's the proper link:

(Seems you can search for articles in previous editions under each region)

Did you decide which hotel, Bob? They both look lovely, don't they. The Uherhof is out of town - I guess you know ...

No, that is my problem--in town or not?
We stayed at Angelo Engel one time and in Castelrotto the other. I am leaning toward in town for the other couple---first time in Dolomites.
