Arriving at Krakow at 6.00am any ideas on how to get accomodation ?

Try the Europejski Hotel across from the main train station. Stayed there about 4 yrs ago. Nice and inexpensive, included bkfast. <BR>alan

I think you might enjoy the Hotel Pollera <BR>http://www.pollera.com.pl/ <BR>It is more centrally located than the Europejski and just a little higher price.

My favourite is the Hotel Fortuna Bis, just west of the university old building, but you can check many of them on <BR>http://www.polhotels.com/cities/krak_frm.htm/. <BR> <BR>Taxi drivers don't cheat. I just jump in at the station, name my hotel, and off we go, in good time for breakfast. After that, I go by tram or on foot. <BR> <BR>Please write if I can help further. I stayed at Kazimiertz. Quite central and cozy. Booked through www.hotelspoland.com - was very satisfied.

Kazimierz is 15 minutes by tram from most of the old city, and hotels and restaurants there are expensive. I had a room there, but moved in to the Fortuna Bis. <BR> <BR>Ben Haines <BR>

I stayed at the Hotel Polonia because of convenience to rail station--2 minutes and 3-5 to center part of Old Town. It was nice and the buffet breakfast was ok. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

We found a nice little secluded hotel. It's name is Petrus and it's away from the busy city in a nice, quiet little neighborhood. It's only about a 16 zloty ($4 USD) cab ride away from the old city and it's a brand new hotel. The only complaint I had was it was a small room, but good prices...about $65 USD, excellent service, and a very nice breakfast buffet in the morning. They gave me a card with their website.
