Last Supper (the painting) reservation

i understand that it's necessary to make a reservation to view the painting the last supper in milan. how do you go about doing this? is there an email address?

Yes it is necessary - they take groups every 15 minutes - you must be there at your appointed time. You can call Piazza S. Maria delle Grazie at 02.89.42.11.46 from the US - it is also helpful to ask the concierge at your hotel in advance to arrange. We visited last June and went to the church the first thing in the morning and got in due to a cancellation.

It got so confusing making the <BR>res. from US that we booked a <BR>day tour and the painting was <BR>included. Easier.

I had heard the stories of trying to call and getting nowhere (busy or an answering machine in Italian). Although many do get their reservations easily. I didn't even try (lazy and booked it thru the site bill mentioned. It cost ~3X the ticket cost and came too $19US. Regards, Walter <BR>
