I have just stepped inside the Knightsbridge Hotel in Beaufort Gardens, I stayed at the Claverley next door. Location is very good, about a 5 minute walk to Harrods, another 5 minutes to the Knightsbridge tube station. The street is quiet and charming.
This hotel was completely renovated about 3 years ago, it looks lovely.

I stayed at the Knightsbridge Hotel about 3 years ago, not long after it opened, and liked it very much. It's very nicely decorated, has comfortable beds and good bathrooms, and welcoming public rooms. It doesn't have a restaurant, but has 24 hour room service, and you can have it served in one of the lounges if you don't want to eat in your room.
I'd stay there again without question if I could afford it. At the time it was the least expensive of the Firmdale Group's hotels, all of which are very appealing. I had previously stayed at the Pelham in South Kensington, but it was out of my budget range by the time of my visit to the Knightsbridge.
