The Bunratty Lodge is at the end ogf the road between the castle and Durty Nellie's. I stayed there and like it and it comes highly recommended from Michele Erdwig who runs irelandyes.com.

Bill

Nancy
If in your budget at all, stay at Dromoland Castle. We loved it and it is close to the airport! Check out their web site: http://www.dromoland.ie/
Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. I must agree with Bill about Bunratty Lodge. My husband and I stayed there last year for the first and last night of our trip. It was absolutely lovely and Mary is a wonderful hostess. She recommended restaurants and sightseeing for us and even called ahead to Dingle to book another B&B for us. The room was spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. We even had our own private deck just outside our room where we enjoyed having our tea. On our last day we had a very early flight so we couldn't have breakfast but Mary made us a plate of fresh fruit and home made bread with jam and brought it to our room in the evening. We had that in the morning with some tea from the tea maker in the room. Nancy, you will love it but I think you should have a reservation because it was full both nights we were there. Bill, I found Bunratty Lodge from Michelle's book too, as well as some other B&Bs that were equally as nice. Small world isn't it?

It sure is a small world. I rate B&B's as much on the host or hostes as I do the actual room. Mary is certainly a great hostess.

She is also listed on the Town and Country page and has her own website.

Bill

I looked up the Bunratty Lodge website and it is www.bunrattylodge.com

Bill, you're right again. The host makes or breaks the B&B experience.
