Killarney/ Kenmare/ Kinsale ?

Please advise on my itinerary. Arrive Shannon Aug 14 - drive to doolin and spend night, see cliffs. 15 - via ferry and Connors pass to Dingle 16- Dingle penisula and night again in Dingle. 17 -via Killarney Natl. park and Muckross house to Kenmare/Kinsale/ Killarney? 18-ROK, should we stay 2nd night in Kenmare / Kinsale / Killarney? As we would like to see Kinsale as well, but neither do we want to be one nighting it too much. 19- Cahir/ Cashel. I believe distance from this area to Bunratty is about 1 hour from a previous post is this correct? 20-Bunratty as we fly home on the 21.Thanks.

DOCK, I'm not sure you would need to spend the night in Cahir/Cashel. We drove from Kinsale to Bunratty and stopped at Cashel for 3-4 hours on the way. Since your trip is so short, I think that would suffice. I would tack that extra night onto Kinsale.

You'll have 2 nights in Dingle, spend the day at Muckross/Killarney area, and spend the night in Kenmare. Head to Kinsale, spending 2 nights and exploring the area.

On the 20th, Bunratty, banquet if you are so inclined, shopping, etc.

I don't think you can do all of this and also avoid one-nighting it a lot. How about:

Aug. 14: Doolin
Aug. 15, 16: Dingle
Aug. 17: Killarney
Aug. 18: Kenmare
Aug. 19: Kinsale
Aug. 20: Bunratty

You really might want to think about skipping Kinsale and Cashel this time. They're great places, but you'll spend a good amount of time just driving there and really won't have much time to actually spend there.

Like Mary said, they are all great places to see, and so little time. You're going to have to make some tough choices, then go back next year.
