I may regret asking, but...who is (or was) Julie Goodyear?

Lee Ann

I'm in shock about the plain chocolate Hobnobs. I haven't been able to find them in shops in London on my last two visits. Tomorrow I'll be running out to our local Whole Foods to buy up their supply.

And the court case about the Jaffa Cakes doesn't sound so daft to me. The US Supreme Court once rendered a decision as to whether the tomato is a fruit or a vegetable.

Electric kettles aren't usual in the US, but we've seen lots of them in Canada. As well as teahouses way up on hiking trails in the backcountry.

Lee Ann, this is julie goodyear, AKA Bet Lynch (although the surname changed with whichever husband was in tow) She was a 'larger than life' character in the long running soap, Coronation St

The trouble with big URLs is that they distort the forum's windows.
You can solve the problem if you use Tinyurl http://tinyurl.com/

Sorry about the shock re plain chocolate digestives.
What you need is a cup of hot sweet tea ;-)

In the European Union carrots are fruit for the purposes of preserves (The portugese make jam out of them)
