erany - have not stayed at this particular hotel but have stayed in several Kempinski properties. Kempinski Hotels is world recognized as providing high class 4 and 5 star accomodations. Given my experiences at othe Kempinski hotels I can not believe you will have a bad experience. Just looking at their website - I envy you!

My wife and I vacationed there. The service is outstanding, the rooms are beautiful and the pools are just great. We were greeted by name on arrival and enjoyed the same hospitality throughout our stay. The restaurants are very good (if dressy). Room service is just as good. Definitely do the breakfast buffet. The only drawback is a rocky beach; most people tend to spend the time by the pools.
The hotel is a bit detached from life around it, so it's quiet (other than the birds). You'll have to drive into Estepona and Marbella to enjoy those towns. The drive to Sevilla or Granada can be a couple hours. Ronda isn't too far. The hotel is better used as a place to lounge about and relax-- there are better jumping off points if one wants to see lots of the surrounding area.
The clientele seemed equal parts German, Spanish and English. Most of the staff get by in all three languages. The staff is very good.
They have a spa that is worth checking out. Some people seem to vacation just for that.
