I’m flying from Brindisi to Dublin on Tuesday evening and leaving Dublin on Wednesday morning to PHL, all on the same ticket. My bag will be checked through to PHL correct?

I just want to make sure so I can pack my carryon bag correctly!

It probably depends - Which airline. Some have a time limit for checking through -- some are 24 hours and some are shorter. But in any case -- I haven't connected through DUB in many years but since they do US Customs and Boarder Control pre-clearance at DUB wouldn't you need your luggage when checking in at DUB?? Then when you land in the States it is just like arriving on a domestic flight. The DUB webpage has all the info re pre-clearance. Not sure if that impacts what you'd do . . .

Flight to Dublin is on Air Lingus, flight to US is on American Aurlines.
