I know that people have said that dinner is expensive, but how expensive? Do they have an email address for booking, I would feel beter if I had written confirmation of a booking if I need to make one six month's in advance.

Rex is referring to www.reservethebest.com We used it to make reservations for lunch in Dec. Worked great. Lunch was $150 for two. More food than we could handle and a long leisurely event with a fabulous view. If value is of concern, cosider lunch instead of dinner.
