Thanks for posting this.

A friend of mine who runs a cooking school in Arles is friends with him and we got to meet him and spend time with him about 4 yrs ago; a delightful man and wonderful products.

So glad you enjoyed Joel Durand's chocolates. He's been a friend of ours for several years and he made me the most fantastic, not to mention huge, chocolate praline mousse cake for my birthday in January...

Thank you for the update Cigalechanta. My husband and I stayed with Patricia and Alan in Sept, 2005 during our trip to Provence and the French Riviera. Their gorgeous farmhouse and true hospitality was one of the highlights of our trip!!

Patricia, if you happen to see this post, best of luck to you in whatever you do in the future. I'm glad we got the chance to stay with you! We loved the forge, and we still talk about the horseback riding you recommended and what fun it was on a regular basis.

Take care,
Lori and Jack Hopp

Cigalechanta - I appreciate the update on Patricia but am sad that I will never have the opportunity to stay at their wonderful B&B! Don't tell me that they're moving away from Maussane?

Lavande she bought another house right in the village. I'm sure it will be just as beautful only smaller and will have a bigger yard for her two darling dogs.
