Abbey House B&B
I am hopeful someone can help with the e-mail address of the abbey house B&B in Boyle. I have tried to contact them about bookings to no avail. In an earlier thread WoJazz111 recommended it highly, thanks in advance

Supposedly, they can be reached through this link:

Bear in mind that LOTS of B&B operators are not Power Computer Users and may only check their email every few days.
If in doubt, you might want to call.

I would follow Bob's advice and give them a call. I'm never real confident of the ones that go through a B&B network first, though they may be perfectly fine. I will say, I've used the computer at the Abbey House, so I know it exists!

Abbey House is definitely a bargain, but boy, when we were there a few years ago it was really, really shabby and down at the heels. Hope your expectations aren't too high. I mean, it met our very basic criteria, but don't have high expectations.

I sort of put B&Bs into two basic categories. Modern purpose built and interesting old house. Abbey House is definitely the second. It's a quirky old place but I didn't find it run down by any means. It's old and it shows signs of age. Is it terribly elegant? Nope. It's clean and comfortable though. I've stayed twice over the years and enjoyed it both times.
