Jamestown exhibit in London

Since 2007 is the 400th anniversary of Jamestown, Virginia, I thought some might be interested in this London exhibit. It is entitled "Journey To The New World" and it will be at the Dockland Museum until May. www.museumindocklands.org.uk/English/

Has anyone already been to it? We're thinking about it for our London trip the first week of April. I have taught American History in the past, so it caught my eye.

The only review I've seen - unless you work at Canary Wharf, Docklands Museum is practically in another country, and really far too far for reviewers (or me) to trek out to - was pretty underwhelmed.

It's online at http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article...5-2527365.html

wow. that article certainly would put the damper on anyone deciding to trek out there for another "experience".

Is the Grayson Perry who wrote that review the same frock-wearing potter who won the Turner Prize?

Surely there can't be two?

I don't know - though I'm sure you're right. He usually writes terribly self-centredly.

His photo that goes with the article (last Tuesday) looks weird in a sort of arty way, but he doesn't seem to be wearing a frock.
