I may be mistaken but I thought, at one time, that you had a website about your days in Le Marche. I may have confused it with someone else. Sorry if that's the case. I've lost my bookmarks for our trip to Italy in August - including Le Marche - and I can't seem to find the site again. (not the Marche Voyage; I have that one.) What particularly jumped out at me was the recipe for fried stuffed olives. If it's not wrapped with a Martini, this sounds like a second best choice for olives.

but I've never had the stuffed olives as, alas, I am a vegetarian . but, based on what I hear, they are pretty amazing.

About Marche I do not know if you appreciate a smart definition of this region (I am not the author, anyway). The definition is the following: Marche, the B side of Tuscany !

You know, like the "B" side of a record album? Not quite as popular or maybe not as good as the "A" side...("A" being Tuscany)

Those stuffed olives rule! We spent 6 weeks in the Marche at a language school (in Castelraimondo) and I came back with the recipe for the olives, if anyone wants it.
