Shrink,
This time of year in Transylvania drives me a little batty. Most restaurants serve stakes, which are not very good for my heart. I'd rather have a nice nymph to be able to sink my teeth into. As you can tell, I am very fond of necking. We usually have a bloody good time and disco to "I Love the Nighttime until the dreaded daylight appears." When "Here Comes the Sun" is played, I know it's time for me to leave the party.
Best Regards,
Drac U. La

Asked my Romanian friend, who travels btwn home and the U.S. :
"Hehehe. Probably not. Transylvania is a big region of Romania, therefore
if something does happen it is localized in a club or two. It's like
asking if they have Octoberfest in Bavaria, which they do in Muenchen.
Romanians don't celebrate Halloween. It's an American thing... You can
however visit Bran Caslte and buy a bunch of memorabilia. I'm sure
they've commercialized it to make some money off of it. But you will not
see people wearing costumes on the street...

Actually, I believe M-Kingdom is referring to American MONEY which while "so naff, so American, and so vile" seems to be continually sought-after in the UK. Now, if we could just arrange for there to be some sort of decayed around the edges "royal family" enjoying the largess, of the Transylvanians to the country's ultimate detriment, I am sure M-Kingdom would feel much, MUCH more at home there.
