Italy Springtime Weather Question

Traveling to Italy this Spring. We are leaving on March 30th and returning on April 10th.

We start up in Venice, travel down to Florence, Rome and end in Positano.

What type of weather can I expect?

Thanks!

Who knows VitaAnn, some lovely weather and probably some rain. I would take a rain resistance trenchcoat (always good to have on the plane to stay warm) and clothes that can be layered. No matter what the weather is you can have a lovely time.

I'll be in Italy at the same time as you. I've been to Italy in April for the last 7 years and the weather has been fantastic. Venice has been between 17/23 degrees celsius, Florence about the same and rome is usually a few degrees hotter. It's always been sunny for me.

I would agree with layering. I've had beautiful weather in Italy in April, but I've also had snow up in the hills of Umbria!

Hmmm ! You seem to be traveling the wrong direction. It will vary from Positano to Venice. Expect temps to range from 45 to 65 and some rain. With only 9 days there I would drop something.
