Italy-No Budget Restrictions
If you were planning your first trip to Florence and Tuscany for seven days in June and you had no budget restrictions-where would you stay? what would you do? which cities would you visit?

For me that is a silly question. You may not believe it but I would travel the same, stay in the same places, see the same things, regardless of budget size. I have absolutely no desire to stay in a five star or six star hotel nor would I stay in a flop house. We have a certain travel style that is dedicated by many factors other than budget size.

NY,
If you mean THIS June, you may be limited by availability anyway at this late date.
If I had the money, I would try out Villa St. Michele in Friesole (SP?) and also pick a lovely villa in the countryside. Villas in all price ranges are not hard to find. Just google.

I would go the Savoy Hotel in Florence
I didn't realize it was a 5 star hotel when I saw it in Florence, just LOVED the location. When I was back at home, I looked for it and discovered its category and its price...which I can't afford, sure.
I haven't been in Tuscany outside from Florence,so I cannot say anything.
