Can anyone tell me what the weather is like in September. I think it may be autumn - do I need to bring anything in case it is cold or just summer clothes. also can anyone tell me where to get lightweight men's underwear in australia

Hi P,

I think that mid Sept to mid Oct is the best time of year for Italy.

Bring layers.

Hi

Agree with Ira. Second half of September is the best time to go to Italy (or anywhere else in Europe). Weather is beautiful (mid 20s) and the crowds have thinned.

Buy men's underware from Target, K Mart, David Jones, Big W, Myers etc. heaps of places. Big range - from cotton boxer shorts to Tarzan leopard print G strings

Thanks Ira and Worldinabag, we will be in Italy from 3 September till 21. The first half in northern Italy and the second half in Puglia. It is hard in Australia to work out what the weather is like on the other side of the World. Sounds like you are from here as well Worldinabag.
