From Rome I'm flying off to Croatia...and then Greece>

Is Italy Rail Pass worth the Money and also what sites shlould I see while I'm in those cities.

1. no need for a train pass - you are only doing a few trips in Italy at times that you can predict so can be bought in advance at lower prices, and are pretty cheap anyway.

2. your time in Venice will be lost to jetlag and adjusting to Italy. I suggest that you borrow a day from florence and give it to Venice.

3. as for sights, any good guide book will give you a list, or search this forum for ideas.

You need to use the Italian train company, not RailEurope as they mark up the prices. For your fast trains (AV,ES,ESCity,IC) use this Trentalia link as it lets you select your seat and can search for the best discount.

For Pisa, it's a slow R train from Florence. No need to purchase in advance as there are no reserved seats. It's about 6€ each way. To see times/prices, enter a date within the next 7 days.

What in the world ar eyo doing in Naples all that time? Much more plesant laces to stay nearby.

1. Why Naples?

2. Venice: Stay there longer. Find a hotel.

3. Florence: Buy tickets in advance on the internet to see THE DAVID and UFFIZI. You will thank me for this advice when you walk up to the David and see the long lines waiting to get in.

4. Did I mention Venice? Stay longer. Wander the streets. Enjoy.

I gotta cut of Florance 1 night than? possibly! I'll see on the spot...
I forgot to mantion that in Naples I'll be staying 1-2 nights in Sorreto before heading to Roma...

We ended up doing a pass because we needed or wanted to travel at certain times of the day and we wanted to take the faster trains. For us it wound up being cheaper to do the pass. If we were just going for the cheapest tickets of the day and were flexible with the time, it would have been cheaper to buy the individual tickets.

point to point train tix in Italy are always cheaper...if you purchase via internet trenitalia you can get special discount fares/rates and print your PNR which is your ticket code and just hop onboard.
yes i would borrow a day from firenze and give it to venezia definitely!
assuming you are using Napoli as a base, take the hydrofoil to capri and spend the night...there is enough to do/see on the island to make for at least an overnight stay.
take the ferry/hydrofoil back to napoli and stop off at sorrento for a look see. normally the ferry would port at sorrento anyway to pick up/drop off passengers.
