Italian Bellissimo
We are planning a trip to Italy soon, and would appreciate any information that will help us with our plans.
We are looking at taking the Italian Bellissimo tour with Trafalgar and would like a review from someone who took that tour.
Are the Hotels First class like they advertise and are they centrally located? etc.
Are the extra tours worth the money?
Thanks in advance

My parental units did the Jewels of Italy about 2 years ago with Trafalgar. My mom said the hotels were not top of the line, but they were comfortable and had good breakfasts. Also, their hotels were not centrally located, except when they were in Assissi.
I have taken a couple Trafalgar tours as well. I've always been very happy with them and felt like they were worth the money. The hotels in other cities (besides the cities in Italy) were not centrally located. But they were always nice, clean and had good breakfasts.
As far as extra tours, I've always been happy with them. My mom said the ones they took were worth the money. The only time I felt that extra tours were a waste was when my husband and I were on our honeymoon. We were on a cruise to the Greek Isles (not through Trafalgar) and I just felt we could have done the extras ourselves. If you feel that you can do them yourself, I would. But the extra dinners were always fun.
I'm a bit biased because my family has been using Trafalgar for years now. My parents have done about 5 tours with them. And they are always satisfied.
HTH!
