Perillo Tours - Italy
Has anyone taken their "Italy Off Season" tours? We are considering their 11 day Marco Polo -- for our first trip to Italy. I'd love to hear some comments. We are not into museums that much, but love fountains, statues, amazing scenery, villas/mansions, good food. Would this be a good tour for us.

Pricing seems good as it includes everything including escorts, all taxes, tips, full breakfast daily, and also dinner daily. So there would not be many costs above their fee.

Let me hear your thoughts.

Hi, Lois. We took a Perillo tour in January 94 - met up in Rome and went to Florence and Venice. Trouble free trip, but because it was not a full bus load, the side trips didn't come off as planned. Not enough people wanting to go to any one place to make it feasible. Also, the tour leader was un-tipped in the price. The restaurants chosen for us were mediocre, but the hotels were very nice. See Kate's question on Perillo posted today.
