Istanbul hotels

I would like suggestions for a hotel in the Sultanahmet district. 5 adults will be needing housing. I was wondering would it be possible to find a hotel with accommodations for 5 to be in one room? What would I ask for for such sleeping arrangements? Are their hotels that are apartment-like that would have multiple sleeping rooms? We would like an in-room bathroom with shower and AC. At least a two star.

If I understand your post correctly, you're looking for a hotel that offers apartments for up to 5 people.

You can ask for adjoining rooms at Sirceki Mansion. They also have "family rooms" for 3 -- perhaps a combination can be used to provide what you need.

Mark23,
Have you traveled with these people in this kind of accommodation arrangement before?

Unless you know their nocturnal habits, degree of A/C needs, bathroom usage patterns, etc, while you might save money being in limited number of rooms, you might lose in sanity

Another problem area is an accommodation with limited number of hard keys but without front desk coverage to leave key at the front desk for different parties to enter at different times. If you are joined at hips, this is not a problem
