Istanbul hotel

Some years ago I remember reading about three or four merchants houses next to each other which were being converted into a hotel. Now that we have booked a flight to Istanbul I'm trying to find it. Having said that some of the places recommended on here look very nice indeed!
Does anyone know which it is and has anyone stayed there?
With thanks

At the time I wasn't intending to travel to Istanbul and so these details didn't register. It just stuck in my mind and I've remembered it ever since.

The place you are talking about is on Sogukcesme Sokagi between the Aya Sophia and the entrance to the Topaki Palace. I think the name is Ayasofya Konaklari. But now there are many hotels that in converted houses all over the Sultanahmet area.

The new W hotel fits the description but as others noted, there have several old houses converted to hotels.

It is very interesting to read about Ayasofya Konklari and I had already looked at Yesil Ev as a result of a recommendation here.
Thank you
