Istanbul Four Seasons or Kempinski Palace?

Going to Istanbul (first time) for 2 nights in October, before starting cruise. For a top-flight hotel, which of these is recommended? What about location, and ease of seeing major sites in 2 days? Thanks!

Four Seasons, without any doubt! Right in the middle of Sultanameth and all the major sights within short steps. Agia Sophia, The Cisterne, Topkai, Blue Mosque, Mosaique Museum(!!! Top pick) etc etc. Bazars some 20 miutes walk away.
Four Seasons Istanbul is also a very special building, as it in earlier days served as a prison. You'll love it!

Both are excellent hotels. Given only 2 days in Istanbul, I would opt for the 4 Seasons because of its proximity to the major sites. If I were spending a week I would opt for the Ciragan because of its relaxing and beautiful parklike setting on the Bosporus. Enjoy Istanbul!
