Daughters are looking to spend a couple days in Annecy. I remember going to see the Telepherique when I was there about 100 years ago (ok, really 1970s). I googled it, I think it was Telepherique du Veyrier which is near Annecy but I think they tore it down in 1984.

Any way they can get a look at the Alps? They don't want to ski, just to have a nice view from above. They will not have a car so anything would have to be by public transport or taxi.

CHAMONIX and MONT BLANC.

I'm not familiar with public transportation; we went by car and it was about an hour's drive.
