Is there a good restaurant review web site like tripadvisor.com?

I love tripadvisor.com for hotel reviews. Is there a similar site for reviewing restaurants? I'm looking for good places to eat for our upcoming trip.

Thanks

Check out: chowhound.com

You can see what people have posted in your destination, or you can post a query similar to fodors. com

I've gotten some great recommendations and it's fun to read people's trip reports in regards to eating.

Zagat's is really in the business of just that, although I've found their restaurant reviews less valuable than tripadvisor's hotel reviews, because of the absence of detail.

I've been using www.wcities.com and finding some benefit there. I wish more people would post reviews there, because I like the site, and it has a neat "Travel Bag" feature, where you can mark restaurants you're interested in and later print out a list of them, their locations, etc.

The way I've primarily used it is to llok up restaurants I see recommended here, find their addresses and phones, and save them to my on-site travel bag. It also lets you sort by neighborhood, which is helpful in finding restaurants near your hotel.

That's great info, Mary Fran. I didn't realize it was possible to use the www.cities site that way. Thx for posting.
