is the rooftop terrace at the Danieli closed?
I read somewhere online (I can't remember where) that the Terrace Bar and Restaurant at the Danieli Hotel in Venice is closed for renovations until the Spring of 2009. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks, Melissa

Missy - why not drop the hotel an email and ask them? I'd think you'll get more accurate inforamtion regarding refurbishments from them than from us who aren't there.

Hi Sandra, I did do that. But, I just emailed them today and I leave in a day. I haven't heard back from them yet. I thought maybe someone on the boards might have recently been there and would know. If the Danieli replies, I'll post online.

We just ate there 2 weeks ago. I don't know about now, but it was open when we were there.

I heard back from the Danieli and they said their terrace reopened the end of May 2008. YEAH!
