Intrepid: your post is so out of whack; it implies that people ought not to discuss what makes people uncomfortable. IF you read my whole message, I specifically ask that the discussion be kept in the context of travel, and as you can see, EVERYBODY, BUT YOU, DID.
Otherwise somewhat comforted by the fact that this has been wisely discussed and really appreciative of the posts, specially from the Italy-bound travelers. You have made very compelling points.
