There is a notice/news on the tousanticovid app indicating pharmacies (some?) will be handling the conversion. I believe it applies in both cases (francais vaccinated overseas and those from outside the EU)

I forgot to mention the pharmacy can charge up to 30E for the verification, per a post on another forum.

Latest news from our friend's friend. Seems like we can get a pass in France. Don't know when this starts, however.
merci, Georgia, très sympa
Update:
After seeing no change in the website today, I called the Consulate of France, Boston. I was told that there would be something on their website in several days, as they are just getting the information today.
One can no longer apply on line if you are not a French national. For Americans, you can get a passe sanitaire at a Pharmacy in Paris…not currently ( I just called one of the listed pharmacies) as they have not been allowed to convert US vaccine certificates for 2 months. ) Soon they will have a New list indicating where you can go in Paris to get your passe once that you have arrived. I asked about people like you who have already applied and are waiting for their response and approval. The consulate didn’t know answer. If you get it before you go, so much the better! But if not, you will be able to get one there. and of course still need an antiogen test before departing for the US! I’ll keep you posted on what I learn here. Still a mess, in my opinion, but doable.

This is a great itinerary, thank you so much!! Â I’m also going to Annecy and Bordeaux, not sure if you’ve been to either of those places? ALSO, GREAT news for everyone! Â 2 pharmacies in the CDG airport have been added as places to get health passes!! Â You need to leave the secure area for at least one of them, but this is a great options if you have some time between flights or are taking the TGV.

French Health Pass website
Stu et all,
We are also traveling to Paris in early December so I've been following this thread closely.
The link below seems to indicate which pharmacies in Paris will convert our US vaccination certificate to the Pass Sanitaire. Updated 11/5/21. Cost appears to be a max of 36EU
https://www.sante.fr/how-to-obtain-a-french-health-pass.
If anyone has done this since it was announced, it would be great to hear about your experience.
Thanks! ILP

My husband and I are going December 1st. I applied for the PS late night October 27th. My husband's pass was immediately emailed back to me. Mine was 'under construction' whatever that means.
The French closed the website sometime around November 1st.
I emailed my hotel and they told me not to worry about it that they were working with a lab and would get my pass taken care of for me.
Last Monday I got an email that my pass was converted from the Pass Sanitaire website where I originally applied.
So they are still processing applications if you've gotten yours in.
One of my friends and his wife currently live in Paris and they said very few places are actually asking for the health pass.
YMMV.

This is a total misconception. Perhaps these "friends" are not asked because they always go to the same places where they are already known or else they have just been shopping, since the pass sanitaire is not required for that. Anyone who goes to the cinema, a concert a museum or a sports venue is most certainly acked for the pass each and every time.

We've already got our passes so it doesn't matter if I'm carded or not.

I have seen no queues at pharmacies. At my own pharmacy downstairs sometimes one or two people have to stand out on the sidewalk for a few minutes because only about 4 customers can fit inside at the same time with social distancing.. They used to have a testing tent out front like lots of pharmacies but most of those disappeared when they stopped allowing free tests for unvaccinated residents. In any case, even in the center of town, I have not seen any pharmacy crowds. The vast majority of tourists are still European and presumably fully vaccinated.

Just this morning we received our passes that we applied for in mid/late September. We arrive in France on Dec 2.
We have friends traveling with us. He got the pass, she didn't. I'll pass on Kerouac's info to her.

On the ground info from Paris. We arrived today via Eurostar from London, our proof of vaccination was required at border control. We are Canadian with a QR Vaccine Passport. We had completed the honour declaration to enter France but no one asked to see it. In Paris we went immediately to a pharmacy with copies of our Canadian vaccine passport. First one said no to convert to Pass Sanitaire but offered the test to provide a 72 hour pass. Second Pharmacy said no but referred us to a friend down the street…she also said no, but gave us a pharmacy on Rue la Fayette, two young guys there and they did it for us. No test required, just converted our vaccine passport to a Pass Sanitaire. €37 euros each. We can now eat tonight!! Everyone was very pleasant and luckily our high school French got us understood!

My next worry is expiring passports (Nov 24). We return from Paris on Dec 15. We depart for Scotland on May 7. Between these two dates (incl.4 holidays), we must obtain our new passports. It is required to submit our old passports in the same mailing package that we use when when applying for a new ones. Then back to France in late August.
