That was a funny thread! We need to get something like that going again so aurelia and others don't get bored. There used to be a number of funny posts that people kept going, but I don't know what happened to those posters w/ that great sense of humor like Elvira, for one.

Whatever happened to Betty & Billy?

Oh, for the good old days on the Forum! I remember one post especially that had me crying it was SOOOO funny - of course, I forget what it was about.

Faina: THAT was a funny one, but actually it is coming back to me. It was the one composed of all the silly (I use that word loosely as I'm sure MY first posts were silly too) questions that neophytes to the European Forum ask. For example, I have 2 hrs. between connecting flts. in London. Will I have time to go into the city and see such sights as Big Ben and Westminster Abbey? Or, I have a 2 wk. vacation and I've always wanted to see Stockholm, London, Paris, Zurich, Florence, Rome and the Amalfi coast. Do you think I can fit everything in or should I leave out one of those places?

That thread was titled something like Can you walk to London from Paris..I think that is where Pup first "spoke" of walking in Paris and London and wishing to know if they would be as nice to him in Italy.
Pup likes to be seen with girls in red dresses. Or at least one girl
He has not worn a beret but loves his bandana. I have a photo of him in front of the Eiffel Tower, alas, that Eiffel Tower is a clock we got as a gift that sits on the sideboard in the kitchen.
Pup has grand ideas, but so far, NYC is still his stomping grounds and Paris is still a Pups dream, since he does not care to fly without me by his side.
So ~yes~ Pup and I were pulling your legs
Madison, thank you

Vita where are you going this time? I just returned from my 2nd trip to Rome (twice in one month), but was over there when they switched over to daylight savings time while on a very short trip. My body has absolutely NO idea what time it is! Anyway, I'm a little depressed, because I've no idea when my next trip will be! (Probably not prior to September.)

Scarlett, hi, please give Pup a scratch behind the ears for me.

BC

icithecat - That's what my house is like with my 2 cats! I am not their owner, but their servant. Luckily, they reward me handsomely with lots of love - they sleep with me at night, sit with me while watching TV, follow me around everywhere, clamor for attention, and love to be pet and played with. I am a sucker for their ability to be totally adorable.

Vita, how cool! I hope you have a great time, it sounds wonderful!

Scarlett, yes, indeed the pups of Italy definitely live the life of Riley, eating well, and being walked in Piazza Navona and throughout the Parco Borghese is certainly my idea of living!

BC
