Considering taking a flight from ORD (Chicago) to Vienna then on to Florence. The connection time at the Vienna airport is 50 minutes. All flights are on Austrian Air -- so my bag would be checked through to Florence. Since I am coming from the US and going to another country (Italy) would a 50 minute connection work?

We had one last Spring and it worked. But that's not to say it always will. Hopefully people who fly thru their regularly will know.

I have done it a few times. It always makes me nervous but it always works out. Try to sit in the front of the plane to Vienna so you are off quickly.

Is there another flight to Florence after yours, just in case?
