IRELAND: O'Driscoll Clan Gathering 2007
JOHNOD: I have just today booked into the Channel View B&B, for Friday, 22 June, so it looks like I WILL make the opening evening of the Clan Gathering, after all. Can only stay the one night, unfortunately,as we have a commitment in Co Kerry on the morning of the 24th. My wife and I are looking forward to attending.

Bob, glad to hear it. Usually on Friday the clan has somthing on during the day. The last two years we had boat trips around the Islands and then a run around Fastnet Light which is spectacular. In any event around 5:00 p.m. we are all on the square with our elbows on a table and a pint in or hands. If you get into the village early on Friday the last two boat trips were great and all are welcome but that is all depending on the Wx. I will be in touch as the date gets closer. Have fun

Bringing this back up to the top.
Departing Sat, 16 June in the PM. Current plan is to visit my wife's reclusive cousin near Drimoleague on the afternoon of Friday, 22 June, before 'HOT-FOOTING' it to Channel View B&B.
Don't think I'll make the boat ride, but I'm hoping to have my elbows firmly planted on a table by 5 or 6 at the latest...

Look for a loud australian who I have to pick up in Newark on Friday evening then tuesday night we all fly into Shannon for Wed. morning. I will look for you by shouting "BOB", if that fails I will be wearing a baseball cap that says U.S. Open of the front. Safe trip. JOD
