Ireland Itinerary feedback please
My nine year old daughter and I are flying into Dublin on April 29th - flying out on May 7th. The only thing we cannot change are those arrival and departure dates. I have a friend picking us up who will have been in Ireland for a week prior. She loves driving 'on the wrong side' and really wants to explore/drive. Her week prior to our arrival will be heavily scheduled and she wants to stay for the extra week to explore at a more relaxed pace. The three of us toured Bath and the Cotswolds together a couple years ago and had a blast just wandering about with no real plan. So, here is my general idea:
2 nights Galway
3 nights Dingle
1 night Waterford
2 nights Dublin.
or we could skip Waterford (or can we just hit it as a day trip on the way to Dublin from Dingle?) and spend 3 nights in Galway?
I am open to any and all recommendations!
Plus I'd love any kid-friendly tips. My daughter is an easy kid traveller, but I still like to plan things that she'll enjoy.

There is a seal rescue site in Dingle..(www.dingle-peninsula.ie) that you might find interesting for your daughter... Bee
hive huts for hermits/religious monks on the islands (Skellig Michael and near Wexford) also.. Waterford doesn't offer much IMO!!!

Thanks for the info!! The seals sound fun! I will look into Kinsale. I suppose I picked Waterford because it seemed like it might make a good stop over on the way from Dingle to Dublin.

Well it turns out I wasn't entirely correct about the flexibility of dates. We fly in on the 29th and out on the 10th. Tickets purchased so now it really is final!
Tentative new plan:
Galway 3 days
Dingle 3 days
Kinsale 2 days
Dublin 3 days
I think I might even be leaving out a day!
