Ireland--DUBLIN B and B
I have reservations at the ABC Guest House in Dublin at 57 Drumcondra Road Upper---am wondering if it is too far out of the way seeing as we won't have a car--will be there 2 nights--has anyone stayed there or know of it??? Should I switch to another that is closer to the town???

hi, drumcondra isn't far from the city center. There are plenty buses to take you to the center, it'll take about 20mins (allowing for traffic). Alternatively you could get a taxi, it would cost about 10E. Drumcondra is on the way to the airport, so is handy if you are flying out of Dublin. Again you are on all the bus routes to the airport.

It looks fine on the website and is a short bus to town. I live in the area and you are in the village(If you can call it that sorta). there are some restaurants and pubs just there and its a cheap enough taxi from town. If you switched to Gardiner street in town you would be staying in a seedier area and probably a dunpier place. I think it looks good and i would stay with it.
