Ireland B&Bs

My family will be travelling to Ireland in August. We have our itinerary worked out but would much appreciate recommendations for B&Bs in Birr, Clifden and Kilarney. Many thanks for all advice. Mary Beth

We just left Ireland and stayed at a wonderful B&B in Killarney, the Beniska House. I highly recommend it.

We liked Carriglea Farmhouse, just outside of town, across from the National Park entrance. Huge old home with modernized facilities, run by the Beasley family.

Mary Beth,

The most important question is are you using vouchers? The next one is, do you mind a short drive into town or do you prefer to be within walking distance? There are not too many places to stay around Birr so are you open to a hotel or guesthouse there?

We enjoyed staying at Mal Dua House In Clifden. It's a little south of the main town but doesn't overlook the sea. Our room was pretty large. Ask for a rear facing room if you stay there for a view of the Pins (mountains).

We really enjoyed Fuschia House in Killarney. Believe it is on Muckross Road.
