iphone charger for Spain

I am traveling to Spain in a few weeks. I have the dual voltage hair dryer with the adapter plug, but I am unsure about my iphone charger and camera charger. Does anyone know if I just need the adapter plug or do I need a converter for my iphone and digital camera?
Thanks!

There is a LOT of information on this on these boards, so for more, just do a simple search. For any piece of electronics, you need to look at the "box" on the cord. If it says "100-240V", you only need an adapter. The converter is in the box. (If there is no "box," you probably need a converter.) Most high-end electronics (including my iPod) need only an adapter, but you should always check.

Are you planning on using the iPhone to make calls in Spain? I would check with AT&T on rates with your plan before you spend a lot of time on the phone in another country. It could end up costing you quite a lot.

I was told (not sure if it's true) that any phone made for international use will be dual voltage but you might want to check with your provider. I can't imagine a newer phone like the iphone would not be dual voltage.

All you need is the right plug. I admit, never charged my iphone in Spain, but have elsewhere in Europe, plus Asia, Africa and S. America.

I have this or something like it.

sorry, don't know how to make a live link. Cut and paste.

All you need for the iPhone is the standard adapter plug for Spain (France and several others countries), the same with the camera charger. You can purchase a kit from Apple (online or in the store), or use anyone you fine. If you're going to Madrid, you can pick up a nice adapter plug for the iPhone/iPod at the Apple retail store near Puerta del Sol or in El Corte Inglés, and save it for your next trip.

I just purhased the Iphone 3GS and the salesperson did not know if I need a travel adaptor or not for Vietnam. I have the two prong plug (European style, which I used in Thailand last year), but now I don't know if I need to purchase a separate travel adaptor or will the charger that comes with the phone is 110/120. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I just charged my IPhone in Spain for a week. I used the two prong adapter. No converter.

flrgirl. You say the charger for your iphone is 110/120 only? That's unheard of in this day and age.

Can you confirm what the small writing on the charger says for input voltage - I'm willing to bet is say 110 - 220 or 100-240V, or something in that range.

iPhones are all dual voltage. Your camera battery charger more than likely is as well if it was made in the past 5 years. I've never had a digital camera battery charger that was not dual voltage but apparently some people here have. Double check it.
