InterEuropean flights: need search engines/websites

In the past I used whichbudget.com all the time, but with the closing of some budget and other airlines, and changes in that website, it doesn't seem very useful anymore.

What I loved about whichbudget was the ease of finding flights to various destinations from my base city or airport.

I also used opodo.co.uk in the distant past. That was a pretty good one way back when.

Now I'm looking for another way to find interEuropean flights. Kayak is ok, but it doesn't give a list of possibilities they way whichbudget.com used to do.

Does anyone have suggestions?

thanks

Expedia.co.uk is still a good one, but also have a look at Skyscanner (www.skyscanner.net or .com if you prefer) and Fly Cheapo (www.flycheapo.com). Otherwise going directly to airline sites like Vueling, Air Berlin, Transavia, etc often gets the same or even better prices on some occasions.

I have used skyscanner.net at least a dozen times or two and agree with its recommendation.

It shows you not just direct flights but also flights with one or more stops.

I also like the global search feature. For example, you could type in "London" in the "from" box and "Germany" in the "to" box and see a lot of different German cities come up.

I did "Germany" to "Turkey" once.

hi tuscanlifeedit,
I agree, whichbudget does not seem as user friendly anymore imo.
I've used http://www.low-cost-airline-guide.com/ for several recent flights. Easy to use.

We flew Vueling in Sept from Rome to Paris- great rates, service, new clean plane. Found them on Sky Scanner and highly recommend. They're the JetBlue of Europe, to me anyway.

Skyscanner led me to BluExpress (for booking). I liked Skyscanner and will use it again.

Forgot about whichbudget. It's not that great anymore? Too bad.

Thanks for all these tips. I will bookmark the sites. I used to really like putting in my city (say London) and being able to scroll through a list of countries with cities listed as a sub category. It was too good to last, I guess.

I'm not sure of where I want to go next October, but I will definitely be in London to start of end.

You can also search for the cheapest flights from a city, a country, or anywhere TO a city, country, or anywhere, for anytime in an entire month (or more). Be aware though that some budget carriers do not make flights available for booking long in advance, so to get a representative sample of options you might want to search in February for sample fares, even if you will be flying in July. The July flights might not be available for booking yet, but might suddenly be bookable sometime in spring. By checking for February you will have a better idea of potential options.
