Spent 6 days in Istanbul, then went on a 7-day conducted tour to Ankara, Cappadocia, Konya, along the West Coast, returning to Istanbul via Gallipoli. I understand that some of the merchants will accept US dollars, how much would you recommend bringing? Did you use ATMs? Did you take a taxi from the airport into Instanbul and what was the cost? How was the weather? Thanks!
