The Ikea Prague website is written in Pragian. If you can't read that language, it won't be helpful

"Pragian" ??? Please tell me you're joking right? You do realise that the language of the Czech Republic is, er... Czech? If you use the Google language translator toolbar on the IKEA Czeck Republic website http://www.ikea.com/cz/cs/store/praha_zlicin, you'd find that the Prague IKEA store is located in the Avion Shopping Park area. A map is also provided.

I have been to the Prague Zlicin IKEA. The prague website mentioned will tell you how to get there. You will take the metro that goes to Zlicin. It is the metro B line. There is some walking involved but not bad. I think that they also have a bus that you can take after you get to Zlicin that will take you to the IKEA. For those of you that are on a budget this is a good place to eat. They have good food at a low price.

Although IKEA is only about 500 metres from Zlicin metro, I wouldn't recommend walking it - I did it once and there are some miserable, very busy roads to cross and it is not designed for pedestrians at all. Take the free bus which runs regularly from outside Zlicin metro station.

I'm only curious, why do you want to go to Ikea? To buy furniture ;-) or to eat Swedish meat balls ;-) ;-) I have used Zlicin station once only because I took a bus from Airport there and change to Metro to get to city center. It takes a bit of time and normal tourist would not go there.

I realize you are the one going to Pargue with a group of friends for a week. You posted about spending an evening at Prague Castle. I replied along with Iris but you never came back to that thread. Are you trying to get a kit at ikea for outdoor party or something? As said, I'm just curious and guessing.
