Iceland winter - 10 days

Hi everybody,

It's me again with some questions because I really have a hard time to plan our trip in Iceland for next February. So basically, we wanted to rent a car for the 10 days that we have out there and go all around the island (road 1).

Now....It's gonna be winter time, so I'm guessing that it could take a lot more time than usual to go round the whole island. Did somebody already do it during winter time, and, how much days did it take? Is it too short in 10 days?

IF it is too short, then what would you suggest to do as an itinerary? Knowing that we already visited Iceland last September, but we only went to the south region. However, it looks like the landscape is totally different during winter time so I don't know if we should totally skip the south and go only north...or to do both

I know this is a real puzzle and that's why I NEED YOUR HELP

Thanks in advance!!!
