Thank you, I enjoyed reading your TR. We were there this past June, also for a fairly short time. Unlike you, we concentrated our time in the Snaefellsnes peninsula near the national park. The peninsula is about 2-3 hour drive from Reykjavik. This is also an excellent choice for seeing the nature that Iceland has to offer, gives you the small town experience and costs less than staying in the city.
